The first time I tried this wine I was somewhat put off. It was recommended to me by someone whose knowledge of wine is far greater than mine and I thought it was too strong and bitter. However, after giving it another try and enjoying it SLOWLY, I found that it has a lot to offer. The flavors are very deep and bold but not too harsh. I could most taste the hints of chocolate as well as the flavor of coffee. I will certainly keep a bottle on hand. — 9 years ago

This was a greatly nightly sipper. A lot of deep flavors with a small hint of sweetness. Will be buying again! — 9 years ago

This was a very different Pinot Noir than I personally am accustomed to. It is slightly dry but has a very grape-like taste which helps to keep it refreshing and not too harsh (similar to grape juice). Minimal tannins which I liked. Overall a great wine but just remember, it's not the normal Pinot Noir taste you might be accustomed too. Probably a good wine to try when beginning to get into Pinot Noir. — 9 years ago

This was a delicious wine. The grapes were very dark so that the wine was more purple than red but it went well with almost anything and was really good by itself too! — 9 years ago
