Nice Chard, paired well with the fish fry they were doing that Sunday! Good acidity, fuller but not overwhelming body. — 8 years ago

We found 4 bottles that have been stored perfectly for nearly a decade. Of the four, one showed excellently, but then turned after 30 minutes. The first glass was a nice, vinous Syrah with stewed red fruit notes and a touch of must. If there is any of this left in your cellar, drink immediately. — 10 years ago

This is my first Petite Arvine, and probably might be my only one as I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to return to Switzerland. The wine is spectacular, it's reminiscent of white Rhine varietals somewhere between a GB and Viognier (or a blend of the two). Not overly fat or flabby, but it has a medium bodied weight to it. Predominantly grapefruit notes with a low acidity and a bit of rind on the finish. — 8 years ago

First Swiss wine purchase during my trip, from the AOC I'm staying in! Definitely different than what I am used to, somewhat sweet, maybe an RS of around .05? Like if a Zinfandel married a Pinot Noir. That being said, the alcohol wasn't noticeable for being higher than I would expect a wine from this high of latitude (13.5%). It was delicate and highly drinkable, soft notes of red fruits compliment the natural slimness of a Pinot for a great wine to enjoy any day of the week. — 8 years ago

Newest Vintage of the Midnight Chardonnay! I have seen this fruit go from start to finish so I might be a little biased, but it's better than the previous vintage in my opinion. Great balance between oak, acid, and Malo creating what I like to call the "Goldielocks Chard" in that it will please just about any Chardonnay drinker. #bydhttmwfi — 10 years ago

It's a freaking 2016 red wine, absolutely not. Yes, it's Southern Hemisphere, but that still means it was bottled in under a year from harvest (or one year max), unless I don't understand Argentine naming conventions. It was light, and very Argentine. Weird, yet dynamic. Thin, yet with a subtle complexity. I don't know if I liked it or hated it. — 8 years ago

Complex right out of the bottle, yet light and graceful. This is a wonderful Pinot that would pair well with a heavier fish and a lightly seasoned fowl. Deep baked red fruit notes permeate as it finishes with hints of bing cherry and a healthy dose of tannin. The nose is reminiscent of a good Burgundian. Cheers to the winemaker! — 8 years ago
