Second bottle at Duck Soup on San Juan Island. Paired with rack of lamb with quinoa and a lemon yogurt sauce. Lower acidity/minerality than the Langhe, fuller body but still distinctly quaffable. Likely a better wine. — 2 years ago
Best Chardonnay I can recall drinking. None of that oak-butter nonsense. — a year ago
Lovely pairing with mushroom risotto. Lately realizing GSMs are among my favorite wines. — 2 years ago
Another perfectly acidic, high minerality wine with a slightly salty tomato flavor. Drank a couple glasses at Duck Soup on San Juan Island. — 2 years ago
Pairs beautifully with Spanish chicken and rice. Medium body, low tannin, nice acidity, hint of smoke/leather. Not normally what I go in for but this is so well balanced. If only I could recall where we purchased it… — 2 years ago
Worth keeping this varietal in mind, would like to try a few more — 2 years ago
This is exactly what I’m looking for in a red. Not sweet or fruity, light acidity, salt/tomato, lovely — 3 years ago
Briar Doty
Cloudy, farmhouse style Pinot with that milky/pepper mouthfeel. Slight effervescence. Probably great around the picnic table from half pint jars. — a month ago
