Loved it. Fruity but also lots of mineral undertones. Smooth but plenty of acidity to keep it clean and crisp. I would say it is still going strong. No problems with the age. — 5 months ago
Always a joy. started out a bit too cold, need to be patient and let it open up and warm up for best aroma and flavor. — 7 months ago

No problems noted despite the age. Very good, but not outstanding. The nose was great at about 30 minutes-1 hour in the glass. The nose seemed to fade over the evening, but still very nice. Acidity is notable. Earthy flavors, tobacco, dried fruit. Great experience trying a 41 year old vintage! — 2 months ago
I liked this. Had some earthy, funky aromas, kind of like Cabernet Franc- vegetal aromas. We had a second bottle this one was the 2019 ; I think the other was 2018 and I liked it better. The 2019. Seemed too tight and tannic even after being opened for a day. — 7 months ago

A little green in flavor (as in unripe), too acidic, but had some elements of tropical fruit, just not full and ripe. Has potential but not the best. — 3 months ago
It had some refined elements but I believe it wasn’t holding up for its relatively young age. Probably should have had it in 2023, but I didn’t buy it until 2024….it had already turned an off-yellow color, not a nice fresh golden or lighter color.. I would say not worth the price. — 3 months ago
Love the perfume in the glass after you let it sit a bit. Very fruit forward but somewhat darker cherry than you would expect. Really love this Pinot! — 9 months ago

Very nice but not as aromatic as other vineyards from Kistler. Maybe just getting a bit old and less fruity at 5 years? Or it may be the vineyard. Still enjoyed it. — 2 months ago
