Funky almost was reduced. It was a strange wine to drink because it had nice acid but at the same time felt flabby. Maybe there was residual sugar in the wine.....overall not bad — 9 years ago
When I tasted this wine I was pretty disappointed. It's reduced. Has high avid and overripe fruit aromas AND tannic to put the cherry on the ice cream Sunday. Pinot is a difficult wine to make and if the winemaker struggles with the vintage it shows.....may have been the vintage because they have decent wine..... — 9 years ago
I enjoyed this wine. It had great leather and black licorice aroma. The tannins were wonderful and I think there may have been some Brett but it worked — 9 years ago
Yum! Earthy, chessy, yeasty, and a great freshness at the same time. This wine evolves as you drink it and tells a story, I love it! — 9 years ago
Holy cluster! This was done 100% whole cluster and is obvious. Supper spicy and black peppery. It has some greenness to it and I'm disappointed in the color....it looks like it has been oxidized. — 9 years ago
This was a really nice wine. Nice dark fruit, ripe cherries, nice spice with hints of black licorice. This wine has a nice complexity and had wonderful tannins to make this wine bold and serious. — 9 years ago
This wine has a nice meaty and earthy character to it. It's rustic and has a wonderful finish. — 9 years ago
If you don't like bacon don't drink this wine. So that means most people will like it. This wine reminds me of smoke firewood and greasy bacon. It also has a nice menthol, spicy and wet leather aroma. Very interesting — 9 years ago
Okay so I have to be against this wine because They are the competition, BUT it's a good wine! It has nice earthy characters, and nice acid. The downfall to this wine is the sweetness. It's to much for me, and brings out this overripe character — 9 years ago
Cayla Dee Porter
Great fruit, nice baking spice aroma. This wine had a nice earthy and minerality note to it. The acid worked well and overall it was a clean honest GSM! Hands down I'd drink this wine again! — 9 years ago
