Very high alcohol content 15.5% for a Pinot. Great nose but alcohol overwhelms the nuanced palate. Much preferred an earthier later vintage. — 7 years ago

Beautiful drinking at 23 years old. Rich red currants, sprightly cedar spices. Can easily keep for another 8 years despite brick red hue. — 7 years ago

High quality grapes that have good finish. Overall nice drinking wine but not very characteristic of Tempranillo. Bursting with fruits and heavier spices. A bit tart but otherwise, really nice. — 7 years ago

Beautiful drinking. With alcohol burned off and complex bottle aging, you can literally finish bottles at a go. — 7 years ago

Funky earthy nose jumps right at you. Palate is refined and intense with beautiful black berry fruits and spices. The subdued and short finish was a tad of a let down, which might mean no more than 10 years of bottle aging. But a great and interesting wine, ready to drink, at a great price point. — 7 years ago
