Laser. This is so insanely good. Crazy juxtaposition of super ripe aromatics and cutting acid. Just a shade off of bone dry. Balanced on the edge of a razor. — 7 years ago
This was the funkiest dirtiest nastiest bottle of wine I have ever opened. Either this bottle was off or they should sell their vineyards to build condos. — 7 years ago
Could be my favorite Beauj. That said you have to be prepared to open two cause one will probably be off. That said $120 a bottle puts you into some pretty good stuff so this is probably more of an education drink than a pleasure drink. — 7 years ago
Good not great. Insanely reductive. Smelled like fresh garbage juice at first. Came around after about 4 hours in the decanter. Fresh and juicy. Probably just about right for the price. — 7 years ago
Doesn’t really hold a candle to any decent producer in Germany but very drinkable. — 7 years ago
Great, for Texas. Kind of funky, something weird about the oak. — 7 years ago
Love me some good old burg. Nothing fancy, just solid village wine. Bottle after bottle Don’s wines keep delivering. I think that I paid $29 for this. — 7 years ago
Juicy. Big serious stuff but balanced. Not my usual thing but loved every drop of it. — 7 years ago
Wasn’t in love the first day. Seemed out of balance. Left it alone over night and it really came together. Probably not worth the cost but interesting to taste. — 7 years ago
