The nose is reminiscent of a sea breeze with a hint of burnt rubber. Great salinity with hints of blackberry, cinnamon and latex.. In a good way. Acidic backbone balances the fruit and spice. At least 10 more years of life left — 10 years ago

Medium bodied. Brilliant ruby color. Tea and a touch of barnyard and bitter plum skin on the nose. Even a little rose petals notes. Tart cherry and plum skin on the palate. Great long finish for such an elegant wine. Redefines what a chianti classico can be; and i love chianti classicos. Bravo — 11 years ago
