Wow, the ripe fruit blossoms into a jammy front end with a surprising elegant tannin to finish. A warm and sultry wine that doesn't require food or an occasion to drink. — 8 years ago

Woah a beer that feels like a blackberry wine and a great compliment to vanilla bean ice cream and caramel. Very full body and a delicious finish that just rocks — 10 years ago

The nose reminds me of dark chocolate covered raisins, a great indicator my taste buds will go nuts. So ridiculously smooth James Dean would be jealous. There's something about the finish that makes you sit back and close your eyes for a moment. A near perfect balance of character and mystery. Just. Phenomenal — 10 years ago

High tannins and an acidity that makes it feel like I'm drinking a liquified red brick. Beautiful nose and a little tart. Leaves a chalkiness on your lips — 8 years ago

If you just started drinking reds this is a nice one to warm your pallet up with before you take on a real beast. Extremely light and quaffable. Raspberry and black cherry is prominent and hints at a peppery finish that brings out a fantastic Mediterranean flatbread with pesto, peppers, and cheese. — 10 years ago

Crisp and nice blend of pear and green apple that goes beautifully with hot humid Virginia summer. Don't judge but it is amazing with chips and queso blanco dip... Proudly unrefined — 10 years ago

Definitely a Wisconsin wine, sweet and fruity. HOWEVER! for a sweet wine it's refreshing and the distinct flavors of merlot and blackberries is very prominent without overpowering either. Nice to enjoy with chocolate cake. — 10 years ago

Prominent blackberry with a hint of mulberry on the nose. Strong and juicy like biting into a late season harvest. With delicate tannins, this wine isn't too complex for a night under a blanket watching American Horror Story. — 9 years ago

Very light and warm on the nose. Starts pleasantly sweet which is immediately followed by a dryness that not only compliments the flavor, but goes very well with a spread of peppered meats. The dry drops out on the finish leaving you warmed and a light fig taste that stays with you... Thanks Gio for the recommendation — 10 years ago

Not really a fan of ice wine, however the raspberry notes with a hint of strawberries makes for a great adult Kool-Aid. Doesn't leave you feeling like you just drank a melted Popsicle where it clings to your mouth in sugar. Preferably enjoyed with ice cream or a chocolate cake. — 10 years ago
