The only Paso cabernet I like. This isn't too sweet or jammy, it is nicely balanced with some earthiness. Part of my wine club, not going to spend $23 retail for it — 6 years ago

Um, what can I say. It is what it is. It tastes better whilst watching Amelia, which I am doing right now.. This is one of the better Nouveaus I have encountered. Very fruity and youthful. It is a fun way to celebrate the season though. — 7 years ago

This is a a really great bargain White Bordeaux. It is very fresh and clean on the nose with aromas of grapefruit, grass, and a hint of white stone fruit. Will be buying it again soon. Warning:it goes down easily! — 7 years ago

This is a 2015, cab franc-dominated, entre-deux-mers Bordeaux. It is surprisingly fruity with blackberries and boysenberry aromas. A hint of rosemary, green bellpepper, and barnyard aromas add to the earthiness. The spice and acidity makes this a perfect wine to go with meat. Luckily, I paired it with a succulent peppercorn-encrusted petite tenderloin filet with portobello mushrooms and broccolini. What a great wine for $15 (coupon brings it to $12)!!! — 7 years ago

This is a really good wine! It is super balanced and has aromas like stewed plums, black cherry, and some spice. Very fruity! I only my paid $13 but later saw the same bottle for $21. Worth the higher price tag but an amazing deal at $13! Gonna stock up! — 8 years ago

Confession: I am not a huge fan of Australian wines. However, this is a really good wine! It is an inky, full bodied, high alcohol shiraz with strong tannins. The fruit is primarily blackberries and black plums, it's the other aromas I am digging though. It has a lot going on actually but is incredibly balanced! The other strong aromas are tobacco, mushroom, eucalyptus, and olive. Hang on, there is a tertiary aroma of cured meat! Someone get me a rack of lamb, STAT! — 7 years ago

This is a really good under $10 wine. Black cherry, raspberry, cocoa, with some cinnamon and cloves. A little too high in alcohol though. Surprisingly good... I will have it around for a weeknight. — 7 years ago

This is a wine that punches well above it's weight! It might be my go to merlot, especially for under $10. It's juicy and complex, bringing notes of cherry cola, cedar, toasted coconut, and a hint of cocoa. I swear there is some ripe plum and blackberry so maybe it is blended with some cab or stray. I was surprised to see some brick color on the rim, since it is a 2014 vintage. I think this drinks more like a $25 wine. Hella fine wine, indeed! — 8 years ago
