Warm palate but not too hot for a dessert red. Think dried figs and cherries, maybe a bit of robutussin (but in a good way). — 5 years ago
Toast and honey-dipped apples. Awesome example of aged bubbles with persistent acid and texture. — 5 years ago
Vanilla Coke in an oversized bottle. Juicy and warm but the oak isn’t well integrated. — 6 years ago
‘14 is in a very good state right now. Plum, blackberry, black currant, red currant, cherries. Great spice, pepper, leather, smoke, and dill. — 5 years ago
Classic Faiveley showing strength and structure on the palate but flowers and spice on the nose. Easy to pick up and enjoy for a Premier Cru. — 5 years ago
Awesome summer day wine. Apples, pears, flowers and almonds all envelop the palate. That savory and oily finish just makes this a great food pairing as well. — 6 years ago
Beautiful and intense. Dried herbs, tomato vine, tart cherries, fresh raspberries, olive compote. From a small producer and terroir that invokes natural production and vinification. — 5 years ago
When it’s 90+ outside with tons of humidity, one can count on this chilled red to make everything seem so much better. Seriously though, carbonic sangio is fresh and quenching! Tart cherries and ripe raspberries followed by tomato vine and white pepper, great acid backbone supports the finish. — 5 years ago
Dense, fruity, approachable. This is a cool bottle that still shows classic Tuscan herbs and sharpness. — 6 years ago
