Oak, leather, figs, and blackberries on the nose. Very dark ruby color wine. Good amount of alcohol that comes through and at 14.5% I’m not surprised. Blueberries and cherries with very little lemon. Oak and tannins take you into a long finish. I like this a lot. Strong buy especially at the price. — 5 years ago

Dried cherry and dried fig on the nose. Deep and dark wine. Very bright purple/blue hues. Low acidity. Instant blueberries and dark fruit. Lots of alcohol that dries out your mouth. Definitely oaky. — 5 years ago

Strawberry jam, cherries, and oak on the nose. Dark ruby color. You’re hit with Sangiovese grapes right from the get go. Dark fruits with sweetness. Not a lot of depth and then you’re hit with oak on the finish. Sangiovese is not my favorite but this will do as a crowd pleasing wine considering price and consistency. — 5 years ago

Deep ruby purple color wine. Medium viscosity. Lots of red berries on the nose. Big dark red berries on the palate. Very jammy but not overripe fruit. Some cloves present. Tobacco and oak on the finish. Dry wine. Medium acid. Petit Syrah really shines through on this wine. This is a buy and drink now through 2023. Not sure it will get much better. — 5 years ago

Aerated and let the wine rest for 1 hour before drinking. Did not help much. Tar, charcoal, and dark berries on the nose. Super sour with a lot of lemon. Big alcohol bite at 14.5%. Not sure if this has any aging hopes and dreams — 8 years ago

Getting a lot of alcohol and tannins on the nose. Once I get passed that it is cherries, dark fruits, and lemon. Acidic wine with lemon, plum, and some kind of fresh cut flowers. Lemon lingers with some jammy fruits. — 5 years ago
