Great leathery blackberry aroma and not that tannic. Improved and opened up nicely after being open for a half hour. Long, consistent finish. Would definitely try again and seemed like a decent value @ $100 from binnys — 5 years ago

Simple, straightforward, smooth Sauternes. Had with chocolate cake which was a perfect pairing. Wasn’t much complexity or anything amazing on the finish, but this is the best wine with chocolate. Easily drank a couple of fullish glasses, which was just the right amount — 5 years ago

Most interesting Sauternes I’ve tried. Started smooth with honey and then got more complex with a long finish that changed as it lingered, especially as the bottle got some air. Felt like it was maybe a little too powerful towards the end of my last glass, but I was maybe getting some sediment at that point. All in all an exciting tasting and it left me excited to try some of their other wines. — 5 years ago
