First opened it hits you with blackberry and ripe cherry. Very disappointed on its palate though. Definitely expected more out of this wine but it is well-balanced for the more "experienced" Cab drinker. — 9 years ago
Plenty of berry. Drinkable with pork and bbq chicken. — 9 years ago
The crave is over. Perfect balance of fruit and spice. Not what I was expecting from an American Graciano. — 9 years ago
This Barbera has the right amount of minerality and baking spices to keep the palate jumping. The fruit-forward nose along with its almost pepper-like aromas kept me intrigued...and drinking. Excellent for the price. — 9 years ago
Tobacco and poblano is an initial aroma, but after a few minutes the bouquet develops into a mixed berry. High acidity with this one but the ripe cherry on the finish burns so good... — 9 years ago
Deep Red hues w/ a youthful Ruby rim.
The nose is clean w/ sharp earthy tones but baking spices (Clove especially) and sour cherries take precedence here.
A nice medium bodied wine with lighter tannins than I'm used to when it comes to Zin. Heavy black pepper, cherry, leather, bell peppers, and roasted brussel sprout rounds out the palate.
Interesting Zin but hey, it was worth a try. Highly recommend the Federalist Cab Sauv though. — 9 years ago
Rich blackberry nose with an abundance of tobacco. Not super crazy about this one but those who enjoy a young Cab will certainly enjoy it. — 9 years ago
To me, the Barbera stands out with its dark fruits and the baking spices but the tannins are high, like most Nero d'Avola's. Little spice on the finish but a perfect blend of some perfect Italian grapes. — 9 years ago
Luscious berry fruits with a vanilla finish. Fantastic Cab blend. — 9 years ago

Nice and crisp with notes of apple, pear, and morning dew like qualities. Highly suggest serving this wine slightly warmer than your average Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. While crisp when chilled, the fruits stand out a little more when served above 45 degrees. — 9 years ago
