Got this for $12 so shouldn't expect too much. It's ripe and clean but lacks concentration and complexity. FAQ. — 8 years ago

Sry pale lemon colour. Nose has funkiness and struck match, white melon. Medium weight, really alive mouthfeel so acidity is pitch perfect. A pure Chardonnay with length and austere finish reflecting maybe a touch too much oak. Good wine — 8 years ago

Has the pale colour of a Polish Hill but that's where it ends. Already has a touch of kero on the nose and the palate is austrre and lacks the normal limey zing. I may have caught this between phases but it is not the thrilling wine one normally expects. Good winemaking but lacking the usual brilliance. — 8 years ago

Bright yellow. More oak on the. Owe than fruit. Nice stone fruit flavours but has lost its structure and acidity. Kept too long. Clearly has all the hallmarks of greatness but in decline. Still a.very worthy drink. — 8 years ago

This is "Delugional" made from the newest Chardonnay vines at the estate. Next year will go into normal Chardonnay blend. Bright pale lemon, melon and struck match on the nose. All the luxury and concentration of the wonderful original Chardonnay and must have. R.E.M. A close run thing to leave it out. Great concentration, length and acidity without the complexity of big bro. Very good. — 8 years ago

I love Barossa Cabernet. But maybe this has been left too long. It has the blackberry intensity of good Cabernet but has lost its structure and complexity with age. It now appears as a simple wine that tastes like Cabernet but does not thrill. Pity. — 8 years ago

Deep blood red, ever so slight browning at the edges. Lovely rich aromas of mulberry, red fruits, cedar all very attractive. Medium weight, everything integrated and balanced, lots of acid backbone, good length, tannins very soft. Maybe lacks complexity. Good not great wine. — 8 years ago

Beautiful deep chesterfield red no hint of browning. Aromas of cigar box. Structure is absolute in line and length. Still a cidity holding it together and hugely concentrated. Maybe just short on primary fruit to give it pure pleasure. Might have left it jus t too long to open. — 8 years ago

Clean and bright with an early rouch of kero on the nose. Zingy mouthfeel that is fully in balance with a succulent limey flavour. This is twiddling that any B drinker would love...and soonforget their former romance. Love! — 8 years ago

All I can think of when I drink this wine is perfect fruit. This is a 2006 and it still had acid backbone and wonderful balance and fruit purity. No austere aftertaste just clean and elegant and utterly drinkable. The bead was Uber fine. A great Aussie sparkling that smashed the Billy we had on the same night. — 8 years ago
