This wine has the most incredibly unexpected flavor, and I absolutely love it. It smells like a typical California jam hands cab, not my fav, expecting the worst. Then it hits your mouth like a Loire gamay and it’s SO GOOD. Complicated, interesting, so so unexpected, right up til the moment you taste it. — 4 years ago

It’s orange, I like it. My orange scale generally goes from ‘very drinkable’ to ‘funky like gym socks’ with gym socks being the very best an orange wine can be. This wine is squarely very drinkable, in the very best way. Would be a great intro to orange wine. Pairs with everything. — 4 years ago

This wine got a lil stank on it, but only when it’s just about in your mouth. What’s actually going on with the flavors, some madness. It’s like coffee and cigars, but more like a blunt. I think this might be my favorite orange wine I’ve had so far. The color and complexity are wonderful, the flavor is just simply delicious. There’s some sort of smokey bubble gum peach cobbler going on there, it’s great. And the ever so slight presence of gas. — 4 years ago

What’s going on with this wine ... so much. It’s like, meat. And jam and chocolate. But it’s still somehow a lightweight full bodied Beaujolais gamay? It doesn’t seem possible. Drink it with a hearty meal, this isn’t a sunset on the lanai wine. — 5 years ago
