I first uncorked this, and it smelled to high heaven. The wine literally smelled like dung, was hot with alcohol, and was sharp and undrinkable. I had every intention of returning it to the wine shop and snootily tell them to stop selling it, but I decided to give it a second taste. After a week sitting, it was a whole new ball game--much calmer and rounder with a not unpleasant gameyness. If you like barnyard, this might be for you. — 10 years ago
Great flavors, very little mousse. — 10 years ago
As a sec champagne this is sweeter than brut, and that sweetness goes a long way to smooth out the acidity. This is incredibly drinkable and delicious! I could drink this any time, any place! — 10 years ago
