High altitude Sonoma Malbec from a great vineyard (Monte Rosso) and almost a decade of time waiting. Everything was working in this wine - tannins, black current, leather, cigar smoke, dried herbs, hint of dried flower. This tastes like a Malbec that grew up in Cote Rotie. — 7 years ago

Underwhelming but still a very enjoyable bottle. Not my favorite vineyard from Anthill. It delivered on the nose but faded on the pallet. Big and tannic, with heavy primary and some secondary - tart dark cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, and cedar. — 7 years ago
