At this price, this wine is a steal. Beautiful dark garnet, that transitions to a pale rim. I get an initial spice on the nose that finishes on a bright fruit note. That bright fruit continues as the first note to hit the palette and finishes with spice and a light acidity. It's a medium bodied wine, with a pleasant mouth feel.I don't get the leather that some have mentioned, but maybe that will come as the wine opens up a bit. Definitely worth the $20! — 6 years ago

Much better on the second day. The body is mellow to light-bodied and a style that is on the more elegant side of the spectrum. The acidity is on the fresh side, berry notes and a nice brightness.
