Obviously not a Muscat- rather the legendary 1937 Caldwells 'Claret' purchased from an auction in the Barossa about 20 years ago - this half bottle having come from the Yalumba museum. A very big and intense wine that clearly deserved its reputation for being among the greats of Australian wine history. Also tasted from a full bottle in 1988 which was remarkable. — 9 years ago

Fabulous aromatics and texture and still so youthful it has so much life ahead of it yet tannins so fine. An absolute treat. — 5 years ago
