Holy freaking magnificence. I want to take this wine and drink it always and forever. Don't care what Ratings were when it came out but it is nearly perfect — 9 years ago
Maybe I'm just in the mood for some Bordeaux but this baby of a wine had great aromatics and the lovely old world mud terroir and trampled grass nose. It's not a big expressive wine but subtle and smooth. The pleasing palate allowed the wine to get a higher rating from me than most other reviewers. Not collectible but will age for a few more years or drink now — 10 years ago
I can't really comprehend how big beautiful and luxurious this wine is. It totally shocked me for the price. The 2009 vintage was damn near amazing — 10 years ago
So stinky it's nasty
But then a lovely incredible mouth feel and finish. As enjoyable as an under $15 wine as you can find — 9 years ago
Super young and smooth. All the great undercurrents of why Antinori is the best house in Italy. After 2-3 hours shows its character better. Currant plum blackberry even some fig jam — 10 years ago
Big florals on the nose with a soft almost to delicate tongue and attack. Tremendous finish where the wine sadly shows best drink now or hold 2-4

An absolute gem of a wine. Starts off young and fruit forward but then has an insanely incredible finish. 95 was a stellar year for Brunello but this may be the best of the bunch. Just incredible — 10 years ago

Confounding wine. Expected it to be a real barbaresco but it fell way short of that expectation. Structure was off as was the attack and finish. Massively bummer because I wanted and expected better — 9 years ago
