A surviving bottle from the earthquake. A pleasant surprise how wonderfully this has aged. Better than it was in earlier days. Mature but fresh Chardonnay flavors. No edginess of maderization at all. Recently we are rethinking the drinking window of all of chardonnays because they are proving to be quite long lived. — 8 years ago
Another level of satin, silky round feel. Pure, complex layers of violets. Hauntingly long finish...beyond finish...permanent imprint. — 7 years ago

Earthy, violet scented Pommard with just enough dark cherry fruit. — 8 years ago
Even though the cork was giving out this wine was a beautiful clear pale ruby with intense aromas of sweet violets. The taste was bright and fresh but of 100% secondary characteristics. Truly Burgundy! — 8 years ago
