My favorite Merlot so far. Noting special but it doesn't taste synthetic at all and is slightly sweet. Absolutely taste the grapes for once. Moon wines are always in the middle of the road between sweet and off — 9 years ago
Not sweet not dark sort of I between a red and a white without having any defining characteristics of either. A little acidic, not any flavors that stand out boldly to me. I wouldn't spend $10 on this again. I'm cheap as hell when it comes to wine. I enjoyed the high alcohol content. It was not bad at all but it just wasn't worth $10 to me. I may pay $6 for this. I'd buy it again but it's a little to acidic and not dark enough but not light and sweet enough either. — 9 years ago
Like a red moscato with no acidity at all.
Best 3.99 I've ever spent.

Really good. Sweet but peppery and slightly spice. It's one of my favorites for the price — 9 years ago
I can absolutely taste the black cherries and slight hints of plumb. It's sweet and yet dark. Not really a strong spice. But very good. Not very acidic and no notes of chocolate which is a huge plus. For 5.99 it's good. — 9 years ago
Dark chocolate and cherries. Bright.

Left something to be desired. Fairly smooth but no flavors that pop out. Almost tastes "flat"

Ehhh trader joes wines all taste synthetic. But only 2.99 — 9 years ago
For a red this has a nice flavor! It's a very spicy sort of flavor. Not as in sharp but as in like a glass of spices. However it is still fruity. I'm a fan. #Update a couple weeks later, I brought his from an 8.4 to a 8.9 in my Zinfandel class due to its robust spices — 9 years ago
