Enjoyed a perfect example of the 1990 Ch. Latour! Pulling the cork and decanting delivered a stunning bouquet of minerals, leather and ripe cassis fruit. After decanting for two hours, the wine showed off its ripe sweet tannins, beautiful fruit and 30+ second finish. The wine showed better than I expected! Very happy😃 — 9 years ago

The 2000 Chateau Brane Cantenac was absolutely singing. It's in a great place right now and imagine will be for a while. It had its telltale aromatics of graphite, tobacco, black currant and a stunning floral character. It was followed by just pure, rich, concentrated and mouth filling flavors. Seamless is a good word here. This is truly a remarkable Margaux showing off its elegant, silky power! Pop one if you have some. I can't believe I drank the whole thing. — 10 years ago
