Sipped this Spanish affair by itself but it seemed like I should have had some olives and chorizo handy. Sauna like in the mouth. $17. — 12 years ago
A smooth $17 Italian wine with black cherry and earthy flavours. I'm told it pairs well with stews and I can attest to it working with bruschetta. — 12 years ago
$18 is on the top end of my budget gems search but this was an impressive wine. Peach n' citrus. — 12 years ago
A couple of great evenings have been MADE by this wine. It went exceptionally well with a peppercorn tenderloin! $25 - and worth it. — 12 years ago
A good, Italian Grigio at $16. I'm thing that this one would be excellent with fish. Very fresh and citrusy. — 12 years ago
Had this with sushi (no wasabi mind you) and. For lack of sake it worked well. Pairings aside, this is an all round solid NZ Sauv. Blanc with lots of zip from melon, gooseberry and lemon grass flavours. $16 — 12 years ago
Really enjoyed this wine! Big red currants and berries, bolstered by tannins and wrapped-up with a nice mellow finish. — 12 years ago
Well structured, elegant wine with fine minerals and concentrated fruit. Going to have it with lasagna! — 12 years ago
A solid Piedmont entry with lots of muscle, oak and pepper. Would go well with strongly flavoured mains (Italian?) and cured meats. On the pricier side of budget @ $18. — 12 years ago

Really like "Faith" from these folks. "Gamekeeper's" like comfort food. Warm berries for pairing with birds. — 12 years ago
