2008, Beckstoffer To Kalon, was given this wine as a gift. My first impressions were way off compared to 30 minutes later. What a great wine. It's not often a wine developed more structure as it opens up, but this started somewhat flat and has built up in brightness and red fruits as the tanins open up and become more pronounced. If you find yourself with one of these, I say don't decant it. Pop it take it sip after sip and watch it develops in your glass. — 9 years ago
