Knipser and the Pfalz Region, are not really famous for theit Reds. Beeing born in this region, I also prefer whites. This Cuvee will most likely not convince the fans of heavy complex red wined, but its as drinkable (for a white vine lover) as a Beaujolais Primeur. A bit too much acidity but little tannin (which suits mx personal tsste) and overall well balanced. — 10 years ago

Great value for money. Typical Sauvignon Blanc
Semillion taste. Fresh, mild citrus notes, easy to drink, not to complex. Than again not too special. A good White at a good price. — 10 years ago
First try at Hungarian wine that won't give you a headache (Hungarisn wine in Germany is mostly famous for cheap mild or sweet reds or rosey - the stuff I would get from the supermarket at 18). Thid one is much better, and illustrates, that Hungaria can be far better than cheap mass production: Excellent Furmin, easy to drink. From the nose to first taste to finish. Just good dry white with little acid, nice fruit notes of apples, but little complexity. — 10 years ago

Deep yellow colour, notes of honey especially in the smell. The smell suggest a very heavy wine, which is not true: Even though it is full bodied, it perfecetly complements pasts dishes. Taste shows a note of honey, dried fruits (apple, pears) and creamy, soft texture. A good representant of the Istrian (Croatia) signature wine produced by one of Croatias best wine-makers (from what I´ve heard and read) — 10 years ago
Taste strongly depends on year it seems. 13 isn't the best but still good. — 10 years ago

Cabernet Blanc is a very young breed of grapes whivh produces a wine, which could best be compared with a mash up of sauvignon blanc - but a little less fruity and less citrus tastes. Therefore, it is more full bodied and has low acidity. Anselmann sells this at a bargain price. A grape and wine to watch for. Try it, if you have the chance! — 10 years ago
