Very powerful for a Pomerol and also a nice bit of structural acidity. On the nose cherry, redcurrant, and some hint of pencil shavings. Good length fills the mouth texturally. Will be better on 5 years time. Will cellar a long time (15%) — 2 months ago

Probably the least enjoyable vintage of this wine I’ve had, excessively dry and dusty tasting with not enough fruit balance on the other side to even it up. Smells great but mouthfeel is cloying and dry — 3 months ago
Wish I had the patience to cellar this but it’s brilliant already. So unique, incredible almost grainy texture and mouthfeels. Sappy and vibrant on the one hand but deep and savoury. Lovely stuff. — 2 months ago

This is very very bold and needs leaving a good few hours after decanting. After that it opens up really well but would benefit from another 3-5 years cellaring to mature and become less of a one trick pony. — 14 days ago
