On the nose, blackberry and plum meld with menthol and sweet spice, tempered with a slight vegetal aroma. On the tongue, med acid and tannins. The blackberry follows through immediately, followed by a long, mellow finish containing raisin and stewed prune. Good body, strong offering. — 12 years ago

On the nose, copious fig and raisin with clove undertones. On the mouth, a bit immature, with medium acid and tannins and a cranberry-like finish. Not quite mature. — 12 years ago

On the nose, lots of juicy nectarine. On the tongue, pleasantly crisp and acidic, with the nectarine giving way to white grapefruit and ripe peach. Good find for under 15 bucks. — 12 years ago

Delicate bouquet of raisin and stewed prune, masked by the alcohol smell. On the tongue, black plum and raisin, followed up by menthol and tobacco notes. The finish, unlike the nose, sticks around in a pleasing way. — 12 years ago
