Brilliant, delicious, slightly salty in the beginning, Granny Smith. I enjoyed this bottle with conserved anchovies - the best pairing I've had in a long time as both champagne and anchovies balance out on your palate without competing. Beautiful harmony. Just enjoy. — 8 years ago
Plums - no wait! Dark and sweet cherries, vanilla notes, then subtle spices. Rich, with great length, powerful - no wonder at 15%! Incredibly full nose, juicy with loads of tannins melting on the palate. Love it! — 8 years ago

Nice and crispy chard. As an aperitif or with a dozen oysters — 6 years ago
Wow, big fruit, licorice, vanilla and cream. Juicy and lasting finish. Should have kept in the cellar for another 10 years. Looking forward to the next bottle. — 8 years ago
2011. Cotton candy and confined fruit. Juicy, lasting, honey, pear, rich and smooth, almost somewhat smokey + the usual suspects buttery and oak. I had this one as an aperitif, which goes down nice and easy. Great value for money at roughly €11 at any Lidl store in France currently featuring this label. High ratings as I was really surprised by the value for money aspect: satisfaction = perception - expectation! — 8 years ago
Dark cherries and cherry brandy flavors. Rich and slight spices remaining. Fresh finish. I love this burgundy style - always reminds me of a horse stable smell ;-) just brilliant. Has more years in it to develop much further...that's the problem when you get impatient. — 8 years ago
Some balanced fruit with this 100% Pinot Noir from one of my favorite appellations in Burgundy. Not grand and that lasting, especially for the above average spend I would pay for a non cru @ €24 a pop. — 8 years ago
Loved this red. Fresh, crisp red berries and, wow - very mineral! Intense nose with notes of blackcurrant and young, red berries...and what a nose! Did I mention the nose? Beautifully alive and vibrant...and, a great nose...one more bottle please! — 8 years ago

Cherries, lots of spice, everlasting finish. A village appellation that merits a lot more! — 5 years ago
