This wine was suggested to me by the store employee. I did not have enough time to to let it breath only about 45 mins or so. However the color is good and the taste slight on the tongue more like a juice at the start but develops quickly with rich flavors and a biting of tannins in the throat near the Adam's apple at the end. It went well with NY strips steak, oven roasted red potatoes mixed garden veg and sautéed mushrooms in butter. — 8 years ago

Had this wine with Paradiso Cheese, figs, ham, grapes and crackers. The flavor was ok. The color and clarity passed and the way it clung to the glass too. I smell grapes, plums and a peppery spice. It is light on the fondue and mouth when the wine first enters but I am unhappy with the way the tannins abrupt late as it enters my throat, making me cough after swallowing. — 6 years ago
