Quintessential voluptuous Malbec. Full of dark berry flavors, damson. Nice acidity, still fresh despite the 10 years age. Highly recommended, loved it. — 7 years ago
Sweetness indicates California, delicacy and structure points to Monte Bello. Gorgeous wine, love it. — 7 years ago
Quite round, full, supple, mouth-filling. Shows more grit than the Leoville Baron of the same year. Very enjoyable now. — 7 years ago
Dense, succulent, tropical BUT too much for my taste. Overwhelming barrel vannilla hiding some of the fruit and complexity. Let's hope it shows more nuances with age. Overrated and overpaid. — 7 years ago
A rather racy, flavorful white. We had it with cheese raclette which was a very good fit. Doubtful whether it fits to a delicate fish course. But nice wine overall. — 7 years ago
Truly outstanding. Delicate but flavourful, complex, combination of berries and herbs. Perfect drinking age. — 7 years ago
Great stuff. Flavorful, balanced, complex. We had the Koongsgard Judge in comparison. This was so much better. I buy this regularly because I am addicted. Only drawback is potential premox. Current pricing is OK; wonder how that will change with new owner. — 7 years ago
Nice bubbly, lively, fresh, focused. Not nevessarily for food but good for other occasions — 7 years ago
Large scale red from the Tannat grape. Ideal age for drinking (17 years) because the tannins needed softening. They are still quite present but agreeable. Drank it with Osso Bucco and had fun! — 7 years ago

This an extremely interesting wine. I was surprised not to get the usual overwhelming wine from Spain. This is a classic Mountain wine, supple and sumptuous, interesting flavors. For my taste I would prefer a bit more acidity, however. — 7 years ago
