At $20 a bottle, this was an outstanding value. I had the 2005 vintage. Outstanding concentration from those old mencia vines. The 10 years of aging served this wine well, having nicely integrated flavors of black cherry, blackberry, earth, mint, fennel, maybe a hint of green pepper on the finish, which is medium-long. — 9 years ago

A simple, but tasty wine, best with food. Great acidity, well matched with salmon as well as Greek Salad heavy on the Feta. Lemon and white blossoms, lemon peel on the finish, and (of course) pine. — 9 years ago
