Thee vigneron gave me a bottle for Red, White & Green Wines & Spirits we all enjoyed its rich green stem piney, dry, rustic tannins. Dry yet smooth a classic Medoc in all aspects. Inky, full complex and robust. — 10 years ago

This wine blew me away it was so heavy and complex. It is absolutely not for the faint of heart. I would have loved to drink it with some carne asada tacos beautifully. It gets a lot of its body from being aged two years in American Oak and another year in the bottle. The region is famous for bold reds. This one in particular sang of eucalyptus and roasted bell peppers. The finish carries a lot of weight and is as elegant as the name Ribera Del Duero. — 10 years ago

Light and elegant with a note of blueberry and shines with acidity. Unlike any nebbiolo I have ever tasted which is due to the terroir of the region in Chiuro. This Grumello is unique and exciting. — 10 years ago

Petrol, rubber and a ripe sweetness in the finish that went beautifully with spicy food. — 10 years ago

The Autreu house farms and raises the 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20 % Chardonnay premier cru grapes from beginning to end since 1670 in the Champilon region of Champagne. This beauty has a sharp bite to her and balances honey and a finish that surrenders to hazelnut for the win. Very great price as well and so much better than Veuve, but what isn't :) — 10 years ago

Subtle golden yellow in color with a slightly creamy zest of lemon meringue in it's acidity. A nice light and easy drinking dry white. It is tart in the balance of this dry crisp and zesty Gavi DOCG. — 10 years ago

Negroamaro and Primitivo harvested under the moonlight although I do not believe this wine is demeter certified it boasts the production and grapes are harvested under the moonlight. Like a big pizza pie this is Amore. Over the last three years I have loved this wine and every vintage but this may have the most character yet. This silver moon must be celebrated and I strongly recommend you pick up this wine. — 10 years ago

Beautiful wine from beginning to end. Balanced, elegant and rich in character and texture. Hard cheeses, steak or on it's own this is one of my favorite wines of the year. — 10 years ago

Despite the low ratings I loved this Mercurey, Chardonnay. I do not know if I would pay more than $15 but it would compliment ravioli or salmon radically. It is smoother with about 8 months of oak and the rest of the time aging in the vats where it grows in character and developed notes of lemon, pepper and hazelnut. — 10 years ago

This is prime juice right now. Fresh fruit at it's finest. House of the pope indeed this is godly syrah and grenache blended to a creamy, stone, leathered smoky roasted pepper and dark fruit. Two thumbs way up. — 10 years ago
