Sourced from the famed George the Third vineyard in Rutherford this is classic Napa Cabernet. Open a few hours ahead of serving . It has silky tannins and a long finish. — 10 years ago
The first release of this cuvee for Vineyard 7&8. A complex Cabernet from Spring Mountain fruit blended with some fruit from Oakville. Drinking very well now and will only get better with more cellaring.

The Two Terroirs Spring Mountain
Cabernet comes from some of the oldest vineyards on Spring Mountain. Complex aromatics with lovely red and black fruit flavors. The finish is long and the tannins well integrated, not easy to achieve with mountain fruit. At $60.00 bottle this wine delivers the goods and is underpriced. It will cellar a another decade easily — 10 years ago

A very drinkable and enjoyable Syrah from the Yorkville Highlands of Mendocino. Reminds me of a French Gigondas. Well done.

Something different along the lines of a nice Beaujolais. Serve it lightly chilled. Not a wine to ponder but one to enjoy with simply prepared foods. — 10 years ago
