Opened a week ago, but left 3/4 of a bottle with the cork in it: it now tastes very smooth, a bit sweet and not at all off. What's that about? — 6 years ago

A bit sharp on first opening, but not in a digest-your-steak-for-you sort of way. I think it might be better in a few hours.
