Getting a hint of vanilla on the nose. Medium body. Smooth with dark fruits - cherry, blackberry. Not nearly as velvety in texture as I had hoped, but not a bad wine to drink by itself. Would pair well with red meat, but I don't eat red meat. — 10 years ago
This wine is exactly how I would expect a traditional cab to be - full bodied and very fruit forward. I was expecting more of a meaty flavor per the "Carnivore" name, but I only found a subtle blend of tobacco and smoked meat in the finish. I will definitely buy this one again. — 10 years ago
