I would have expected the tannin to have faded more after ten years. Not bad but stringent through the entire taste sequence. Very rich and aromatic. I taste the smooth merlot grapes with spice and earthiness. It is bold and dry and still very approachable as and evening sipper or paired with and equally bold meal. — 6 months ago
