Lemon on the nose, tart yet some softness on the palate, and a slight (pleasant) bitterness on the finish. I enjoyed it and it paired nicely with a vegan mac-n-cheese my daughter made. — 5 years ago
This is one of my go-to wines for everyday enjoyment or small dinner parties (pre-pandemic, anyway). Cherries, a bit of cranberry, and a splash of leather mix together nicely for the bouquet. Soft and velvety, with a streak of tannin that lengthens the finish. This wine is a good value. — 4 years ago
I’ve had a few “fruit bombs” recently and this offering from Vineyard 29 isn’t one of them, thankfully. It was a nice change of pace having a nuanced, complex, and layered experience. The nuance started with the bouquet - very little fruit. Instead, mushrooms, dusty rose, and light cocoa wafted out combined with a little plum. The finish was long and almost “chewable.” Nice acidity and layers of tannin. I will get another bottle to age. I’m expecting it will be excellent. — 7 years ago
This is drinking beautifully now. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, and pleasant graphite on the nose. Lush, soft tannins that exude elegance as the wine rolls around my tongue. Long and satisfying finish. Looking forward to my second bottle in several years time. — 5 years ago
Honeydew and citrus; smooth and clean on the palate. No oak, so you smell and taste the grape, not the wood. Great value. — 6 years ago

Nice bouquet of dark cherries and comforting earthiness, bu I was underwhelmed with the finish. It was quite limp- no layers, no linger. — a year ago
