I can’t believe the price on this- incredible value. I’m revisiting this old friend, as I knew I liked it years ago. The 2017 is drinking fabulously. It’s strong yet elegant. Dark cherries, dried herbs, strawberries and burning leaves. I’m gonna buy a case. It’d make great sangria too. — 4 years ago
Wow, I wish I had bought more of this one! I’m getting juniper and ripe black cherries, cedar, tea leaves, blueberries. Really good for whatever I paid for it three years ago... no more than $10 I’m sure. — 7 years ago
Quite enjoyable. It’s on the jammy side but it has almost bourbon barrel oak notes to it to balance the fruit. Tobacco and tea notes round out the blackberry juiciness. I say nothing not to like. Great value at $20 — 4 years ago
Holy black cherries...and dark chocolate up front, some crushed leaves and herbs in the mid palate, lingering red berries and balsamic on the back end. Tannins are firm yet very drinkable now. Well worth the money. — 4 years ago
Soft, silky, easy drinking. Lots of dark cherries and oak. A little more fruit than I prefer but solid for $10. Drink with a cheese tray or a group of friends. — 6 years ago
$6.99 A lot of oak on this one... dark cherries and licorice... dry, lower alcohol 13.5- nicely balanced, lingers. Pretty good but not my favorite. — 7 years ago
Garnet colored, medium body. Currents, mushrooms, and pomegranate on the nose. Nutmeg, white and black pepper, strawberries on the palate. Pleasantly lingers on the tongue. Tannins are firm yet this is very drinkable now. Very nice wine and a solid value. — 4 years ago
Tart red cherries, pomegranate, fennel, milk chocolate and mint. Actually, I think I can taste the terroir of the vineyard-definitely a plus. Quite delightful with my grass-fed cheddar. — 4 years ago
Pale straw color, white flowers and honey on the nose, pear and pineapple on my tongue. I’m kinda in love with this wine. Thanks George Duboeuf! 2017

This is an incredible value. Right out of the bottle, it has an acidic edge, so let it open up. The next day it was killer and the day after that I finished it off, and it’s still delicious. It’s complex and so well balanced. If you like his other offerings, you’ll enjoy this. — 4 years ago
