Slightly bitter, gentle tannins that creep up on your tongue. Dried blueberry up front, mild creme de casis, and a gentle white pepper bite finish. Complex and unique. Not my favorite, but well worth the price. I think given a couple years to mature, would be perfect. Gets noticeably better as it opens up.
