Really interesting old wine from a great vintage.

A dark browny red with a real note of old leather on the noise.

Leather is the dominant flavour and dominates the palate, however some jammy dark fruits are still present with a lighter woody taste left at the end.

Golden coloured, starts smooth with a nice punch of alcohol on the finish.

Does open up once left to breath.

Not particularly buttery or oaky. Has a some nice citrus to it. — 6 years ago
