This definitely needs to decant a bit as I found it a bit tannic during the first glass but opened up as the night progressed. As expected the bourbon barrels imparted hints of vanilla, spices and a slight smokiness . All of which was over powered by blackberry and dark fruit jammy-ness. Would buy again but would set in the cellar for a year or two. — 9 years ago
