Nice sipper on a Tuesday night with some pizza. Good acidity with a dusty quality. Some fruit on the front end that gets over taken quickly. Simple, rustic. The food is going to be the star here. Like the Mona Lisa, it is generous enough in dimension to not be completely disappointing; but with out food, all I really taste is Le Terre. — 8 years ago
For $12 a bottle, It is very enjoyable. Balanced ripe fruit. Subtle light tannins. Good value wine. Would buy again. — 8 years ago
Very fruit driven! Overall not extremely exciting, but very easy to drink. More enjoyable after I busted out the Rembrandt extra aged Gouda. Strawberry jam, over ripe raspberries, Hibiscus and leather (which I found to be the least enjoyable), high toned cherry and cranberry notes, with lush florals, creamy rhubarb and black cherry cola. Medium plus body. Muddled rose and lavender and a bit funky on the nose. Slightly burnt ruby hue. Medium alcohol. Cariñena is a region located south east (about 70 miles) from Rioja. Adjacent to Calatayud. Lower than average rainfall, average daily temperatures, and average yields from a hectoliters per hectare standpoint. — 8 years ago

Zesty lemon and floral nose. Punchy acidity. Candied citrus, saline (almost like Mrs. Grass chicken soup or that Greek lemon orzo soup, avgolemono says google), toasty minerals and under ripe almond. There is a touch of cream on the mouth feel. I dig it. Under 10 bucks. Has a lot of pairing potential. — 8 years ago
