Dear Jamie-

You will initially be disappointed that this doesn't taste like Riesling. And then you'll explain the science of wine making to yourself and conclude that of course it's going to taste different, there is a secondary fermentation all up in this business. Then you'll get over it, because at the end of the day all sparkling wine is great.

This wine has the sweetness you like, but the rubbing alcohol aftertaste you definitely don't like. Drink only when slightly drunk already

This bottle was green. That seemed fine. But overall it's just your standard sparkling Moscato. Go off and explore other sparkling varieties you chicken.

Dear Jamie-

You should have been concerned when you asked for German wine and they directed you to a wine produced and bottled in Richland, Washington. Nonetheless, this wine was decent. Not sweet, but not super dry. Quality wine. Not as fruity as you like, though.

First of all, you drank this wine chilled. That may be a protip. The smell made you nervous, but damn, girl, its like drinking fruit juice. Straight up!
