Oh tranquility, peace be with my taste buds as I drink you down, you sassy, silky mistress. — 8 years ago
A spritzy good time. Want a saignee with attitude? Shazam. Remy crushes this wine in Ernest. I drank it with a spicy salmon which just absolute tickled our evening. I can still taste the bubbles battling the spice on the back of my tongue. Don't sit on this (your butt will make it warm). — 9 years ago
Had this last night with a beautiful Red-Nosed venison chop. Can't quite decide if it's naughty or nice. Probably just nice. On second thought not my best April pairing. — 9 years ago
A solid entry into the sparkling repertoire of New Mexico. These New Mexicans from France sure do know what they're up to. So if you're blasé on Gruet, check out the Leonne's offering. The bubbles here are small...not tiny...but definitely small. — 8 years ago
For an old world wine this is plush as a baby's bottom...provided that baby has a velvet bottom. If that baby doesn't moisturize then nevermind. Drink it in your nursery while you wait for that little rascal to finally fall asleep. Pairs well with night terrors. — 9 years ago
The raisin and oxygen notes are deep on this one. Some will say "is it still good?" We think certain stinky and esoteric cheeses are a must. — 9 years ago
Strawberry shortcake in a bottle. Would've been better served on my summer veranda, but I consumed on my winter couch. Next step, find out a way to get a veranda. — 8 years ago
Step into Wonka's Chocolate Factory and get ready to get sucked up the Gloop Shoot. This wine brims with cocoa cassis fantasy dreams but hear me now...to drink without at least a decade in the darkest corners of a cellar is to rob the magic of what it could become. Pouring it now would be like asking Harry Potter to defeat Voldemort after only his first week at Hogwarts. Let the wizardry develop in the bottle. Drink it with your filet in 2022. — 8 years ago
Like a french pinot but more approachable. Like if French pinot is a cell phone kiosk this wine is a brick and mortar store. It still wants your business but it's not as terrifying. Medium complexity. Cranberry and dirt. Classic Oregon style pinot. — 9 years ago
