A nice floral Napa Chardonnay with 14.5% alcohol! You get a bit of heat in your mouth with the acidity that tries to balance itself with the oak that is a big component. A big effort with butter, golden pear and golden apple fruit that lingers on the palate. A bold representation of a Napa Chard. — 6 years ago

A bigger effort than the 2014 that will do well with some time. Pencil lead on the nose-dark caramel, chocolate, licorice and raspberry fruit. Tannins are medium to large but kept in check. Very nice Cab-ready to drink now IF you let it open a bit, but should age nicely for 5-10 years. — 6 years ago
