Took a couple of hours but really opened up nicely. Great balance of darker red fruit, leather and dried fruit. Tannins are grippy but ripe, and it has enough acidity to keep it refreshing. — 7 years ago

This is a great value wine at the price point (~$30/bottle).
Upon opening smelled strongly of smoke and cedar, but after a bit of time the sour cherry and raspberry came out. Hints of leather as well. Tannins are ripe and pleasant. — 7 years ago
