Some earthy, fungal notes not all will appreciate. On the positive side, it has pleasant mossy, woody notes. Sips have full texture/mouthfeel. The bouquet is only slight spicy. Overall it’s a delightful wine that hits all the right rioja and Tempranillo notes. It’s a good accompaniment that won’t overpower or compete with other dishes. I enjoyed it with beans and pork tenderloin and would have again with most any other dish. — 2 years ago

More fruity and very slightly less tart than a traditional basque cider but similarly dry and piquant. One could say it’s a contemporary interpretation of the ancestral method for basque ciders and is more accommodating to modern palates. — 3 days ago
