Very nice at this approachable price point. Lovely Orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit citrus notes. Textbook petroleum on the nose let's you know it's a Riesling. Green apple and apricot on the finish mixed with some slate-y-ness. Vibrant acidity, with about 12% abv. — 7 years ago

Dark blue and black fruits, bit of sweet tobacco on the nose, kind of a salted plum thing going on, bitter chocolate finish, moderate tannins with less acid than I anticipated. Mouth-filling upon entry but more mid palate would be nice. Overall it’s nice at this price point and I’d buy again. Varietally district, although this producer has the “Terroir” series that is a step up in quality that showcases more mid-palate weight and a longer finish with a bit more complexity — 6 years ago

Amazing bottle of Côte-Rôtie. It displayed incredible aromas of olive, smoked meat, violets, leather, and black fruit. It's velvety tannins allowed for a firm yet gentle finish. Every sip got better and better. A fantastic bottle for a fantastic night 🍷 — 8 years ago
